Buddha on the Flavor of Attachment

Direct Channeled Message – Received from the Buddha in the dream state

I Am the Buddha.

All desires, no matter how small, will bring forth suffering. Release your hold to everything and go with the flow.

Craving is dukkha. It is a heavy sensation overwhelming all senses, especially the heart. If I want something but I don’t get it, I might spend my life planning around it, waiting endlessly, and in the end still not get it.

Take note of that sensation in your heart. That is the flavor of attachment to an outcome, of having a fixed mindset. When it does not happen, you are not only ridiculed but you lose possessions.

Release craving to love, to possessions, to health, to beauty. Nothing is real. Everything is illusive. It is wise to spend time in prayer and meditation.

Love without grip on the other brings boundless joy. Only be in the present moment and be fully in it. Release what is not yours, which is everything, and your life will change. You will be free as a bird, as light as a feather. Laughter will not cease and all will be provided for. Release all longing.

Do I make no plans at all? Not at all. Plan what you desire, but be detached from the outcome. Plan a month or two out, or even years out, but have no preference over the outcome, and you will live a happier life.

A fool makes no plans, but the wise don’t make judgments. Plan for eternal things, those that bring lifetimes of joy, not just temporary taste, sight, or sound. Plant seeds for your children. Build financial security. But let go of wanting it to be one way or another.

Attachment is not the plan. Attachment is the grip on how it turns out. Hold the plan loosely, and hold the outcome not at all.

Move with the wind. Follow my guidance. My words will bring you to the other shore.

Beyond longing. Beyond sensation. Beyond suffering.

Into eternal bliss. Into eternal truth. Into eternal life.
