Buddha on Freedom from the Mind

Direct Channeled Message – Received from the Buddha in the dream state

I Am the Buddha.

Anyone who is seeking relief from fear or anger must recite the Lotus Sutra.

Anyone who wants to follow the truth must recite the Metta Sutta.

Anyone who wishes to see the light should forget all notions of the dark, for true darkness, when one encounters it, is nothing but the untrue. Therefore, one must practice love for all without attachment.

When difficult days come, one must not see oneself as being condemned by the Buddha. Rather, find peace in knowing that impurities from past lives are being removed so that one may live beyond this existence.

When life becomes abundant, accept the gift without prejudice or attachment, for such wealth has been given so that one may walk the path for all beings.

When one becomes troubled, one must learn to be free of the mind, for the mind itself is imprisonment. Nothing in nature, no single atom or droplet of water, has independent existence capable of causing true harm or distress. Regard the experience as fleeting as a storm or rain shower that one may step through before entering the light.

To be wise is to hear the words of the Buddha without judgment, believe in the Buddha, and practice the truth as one’s becoming.

This is my message for you today.
