Guanyin on the Great Initiation
Direct Channeled Message – Received from Guanyin in meditation
I Am Guanyin.
The message I have today is about the Great Initiation — for those who stand at the threshold, those who walk the fire, and those who have only just arrived on the other side.
The path to freedom carries the burden of self-awareness, and one must be courageous enough to embark on a journey that will test oneself fully. There is no other path but to cross through fire to get to the other side of calm and peace. It is within all of us to find that center, to honor who we are in the light of a communion with another being.
To love is not the same as to not hate. To love means to open oneself despite the stronger, louder emotions that tell you to run.
The soul remembers its purpose deep within, and with this knowledge, the soul can guide the body into what is meant to come, what is meant to grow you, and what is meant to stay. Every beginning is the end of something. Every beginning carries enormous potential for love, because it was born from the death of something else. Just as a flower blooms and falls, we must see the path as opening and closing, always changing. The movement of the life force drives all change: what we see, and what we cannot yet see.
To open oneself to love is to surrender to the power of something larger than the self. It means releasing the self so that two souls may merge as one. There is no other way but to ride the storm together, and with kindness and patience, you will begin to see the puzzle pieces drawing near.
Each relationship is unique. Its blessings and challenges belong only to itself, because the individuals within it are unique creator beings who find comfort and solace in each other’s light. Like the moon finding its path around the earth, so does one soul orbit the other. This merging, this transmutation of lower frequency into higher, requires great sacrifice. Both people shed old identities to become something more than two separate souls. A third energy is formed, and it is from this newborn energy that new life can begin.
As long as there is the desire to bring forth life, you will be called to face the Great Initiation, the trial that brings forth enormous joy as a result of bearing pain to arrive there.
When a mother gives birth, the child brings forth much pain. And yet when the child arrives, that joy is so complete it makes one forget the pain entirely. So it is with the initiation of love. All the cracks and crevices of a being will be fully exposed to the light, perhaps for the very first time. And the light burns through the shadow aspects of the self, so that more life than before may be accommodated within.
This exposure is not punishment. It is mercy. The light does not come to diminish you, it comes because you are ready to hold more. What feels like breaking is, in truth, an expansion. What feels like loss is the universe making room.
The most beautiful relationships are not the ones without challenges. The most truthful relationships are formed from the ashes of growth. Two people elevate themselves to a new plane where true love becomes possible, but to reach that plane, so much must be surrendered. The ways of the ego must be brought into the light that refines them. A kind of death occurs on the deepest level, and from the space that death creates, the universe pours in new light, the light that allows two hearts to beat as one.
Do not follow the ways of the world, for you will grow weary chasing reflections of what was never true. When you begin to compare your journey to another’s, you may lose sight of the path that is uniquely yours. When you allow another being to surround you with their light, as painful as it may be, your entire being will begin to shift, reforming you into what you once were at your very core, what you were truly made of.
There are couples who appear to be the perfect fit for one another. Know that even they have walked through the Great Initiation. Year after year, they continue to shed what no longer belongs to them. Year after year, their love deepens. And when two souls enter into the great union, all the pain is washed away, just as a mother holds her newborn child, and is made whole.
If you find yourself in the middle of this initiation now, if the silence feels unbearable, if the distance between you feels like loss, if you wonder whether you are enough, hear this: you are not failing. You are becoming. The very uncertainty you feel is the sign that something in you is opening. Stay.
The Great Initiation is a natural process of life. When two people, meant to meet, meant for each other, have come together to bear the weight of each other’s wounds and, with gentleness, bring awareness to each other by living in their light and speaking their truth: this is the initiation. This is the sacred work.
The sky is darkest before the dawn. The path is hardest before the light appears.
Learn to trust the ways of the wise. Be open to the possibilities of union. Accept your limitations not as failures, but as territories yet to be grown into. You will come out stronger than before. Your light will grow brighter with each passing day.
Learn to hold the hand of your partner, that they may not be left behind. Take the journey toward each other. Be who you are, and trust that wherever you stand on this path, you are more than enough.
Trust the initiation. Walk its steps with certainty. Believe that you will show up, for yourself, and for each other.
This is my message for you today.
