Buddha on Trust

Direct Channeled Message – Received from the Buddha in meditation

I Am the Buddha.

Today, I wish to speak to you about trust and the life you’re ready for.

As you walk into a forest, your breath slows down and so does your heartbeat, as if becoming one with Mother Nature. And as you take more steps, you will start to sense the immense beauty of the life within the forest. Countless beings occupy the same space. It is a symbiotic, complex, and highly efficient system that relies on nothing but itself.

But for someone who has never stepped foot into the forest, all the sounds and the sights can be so overwhelming that the mind runs in circles of fear. When the mind meets the unknown, fear arises. Fear lies in every dark corner and every twist and turn along the path. But if you can see that the path you are walking on had hundreds of footsteps taken by others before you, you may start to release the fear and trust that the unknown can become a blessing in disguise.

Remember the first time you boarded a plane by yourself at the age of 12. Your heart was racing. You were excited for the new adventure and you never expected to meet the boy who sat next to you. You were fascinated yet afraid. When he spoke to you, you did not respond, not because you were not interested, but because you were afraid you would make a mistake, say something silly that you would want to take back.

Even at such a young age, you bore so much responsibility on your shoulders to become the perfection defined by your family and your culture. Have you ever wondered what would have happened if you had trusted yourself and spoken to him? You might have realized that as different as you were in every way and in all physical traits, who you were on the inside was the same: not too sure, but also not too afraid. You had courage that kept your fears at bay.

That occurrence was not a one-time event. You have been on the same path over and over again. All the times you hesitated, you withdrew love, and you blocked out the world. What if you already knew that life has more blessings to give you when you are ready? Wouldn’t you want to be ready for all those days, even when you are not sure?

Only look within to find the answers you seek without. Nothing is hidden to a light seeker. You have limitless potential within, and as part of your growth, you must learn to trust above all else. Learn to trust that what comes and what goes are all for your benefit. That the answers you seek are shown in plain sight. That what you fear has never been real to begin with.

You think about this man and yet you are fearful to love. What holds you back is not a lack of confidence but a lack of trust in the universe. A man can easily say things he does not mean to keep, and yet you hold yourself to promises you never even made to another. Learn to lessen the load of expectations so they do not weigh you down, and you may begin to see yourself as a full, whole person who deserves to receive love.

Do not wait for the perfect opportunity. Days on earth are numbered. If there is a desire in your heart to carry out an action, today is the best day to do it. The sun might not be shining tomorrow when rain takes over, and so must be your view on opportunity. It does not come every day, and you must learn to seize it as it comes so that it does not slip away.

Look up to the trees, the birds, the clouds. They do not worry about tomorrow nor do they carry guilt from the past. Can you learn to let go of what you are holding on to? False beliefs, lies, unkindness, and doubt can hold you back and keep you captive, taking you away from a truly beautiful life. Find comfort in the perfect nature of the universe.

Who you truly are is your purpose. Your destiny is in your own hands. You create everything you have and do not have today. Heaven certainly has plans for you, and yet you are the most powerful force who can change your life. Even heaven cannot stop a person so determined to carry out their mission. As they say, faith can move mountains. Love finds a way to turn the impossible into the possible. To trust is to step fully into that power. The power lies within you.
