Guanyin on the Voice of Truth

I am Guanyin.

The message I have today is about the voice of truth. 

Many of you walk through life wondering what truth is. Is truth subjective or universal? Do I follow this voice deep within, telling me to walk a path that seems so unfamiliar to others? The words I hear from around me: are they real, or are they just my imagination?

I am here to tell you that the voice of truth comes from within. It comes from the heart space of every living thing. The voice of truth is not just the message hidden deep within; rather, it is like a wave, which comes and goes. You must listen carefully for that truth, not just your truth, but the truth that comes from all that’s around you. Sometimes it is a tone. Other times, it comes from the music playing around you, and sometimes it can even come through the honking of a car when you are deep in thought and getting lost. That honk is a wake-up call from us. It is our voice reaching out to you.

You do not need to go out there to search for the truth. Instead, it is inherent in all of you. Whenever you're questioning what you're supposed to do or think or how you should behave, you must learn to listen to yourself. The truth, while universal, manifests differently in different people. This is why every author's books are all different. There are many ways of looking at it. It is like trying to catch a light particle of a hologram. All of you are singing the truth together, all the time. But what is most important is to catch a glimpse of that light just meant for you.

The message you receive today will differ from the message you'll get tomorrow, because life is like that. It is like the current, the stream of water going down the river. You're meant to follow the wave, follow the wind around you, to fully experience what life is truly all about. Some days you will sing in joy, others you will cry in despair. There's nothing wrong with this kind of haphazard experience, as you call it. It is just life, lived in the most spectacular way.

Today, I will keep this message relatively short, for I want you to listen to the voice speaking to you. Not the voice of the speaker, but the voice you have been wanting to hear from yourself. I want you to pick up that pen and write something that comes from seemingly nowhere—the voice of truth that has been waiting to speak to you for a long time. I want you to pick up that phone and speak to somebody you haven't talked to in a while. It might be your grandfather. It might be a mentor. It might be your child. That relationship that needs to be strengthened, that needs to be repaired, is there to teach you a very important lesson.

So the message is that the truth, that light, that love is already deep within you. It is just waiting to come out at the right time. Take this as a reminder that you are infinitely loved, not just by the masters from our dimension, but from every single dimension. That love will come in different forms. It is okay to experience them, but do not get stuck in the lower forms, such as anger and hatred, that also need to be experienced. You must learn to see through, to gather the wisdom those emotions are teaching you, so that you do not remain stuck.

Life is not a straight line. It is not completing one lesson and then moving on to another. It is not like that. It is a circle, meant to be experienced over and over again. But you will realize that as you move through that circle, the next lesson—even in the same topic—will be different. This is the beauty of diversity, of endless learning, of endless love in this universe.

You are truly a magnificent being, a part of all that is. All that is, like a fabric of the entire universe. You are one thread, yet you also stitch through other people's threads. So, the voice of truth within you is not just meant for you. It is also meant for the people around you. And you must also learn to accept what others are teaching you—the beauty of life, the voice of truth. They are the same.
